Bring Back the Glam: Renovated Via Bice debuts on Worth Avenue

Tucked in the courtyard of Worth Avenue’s Via Bice is Coastal Girls, a boutique gem offering a hand-selected collection of Women’s apparel, accessories and gifts.

The redesigned Mediterranean-style Via Bice debuted in early December off Worth Avenue, alongside four new retailers, more than three years after the town approved the project.

“Think Capri, think Positano, think Aperol spritz,” said Hollis Pica, a spokeswoman for the via’s owner during a welcoming speech at the Dec. 7 grand reopening, which was themed Bring Back the Glam. “This is what should come to mind when we think of Via Bice, the shopping and dining destination of Palm Beach Island inspired by Italian glamour.”

Just west of Hibiscus Avenue, the mixed-use property includes retail on the ground floor, office spaces above, and its namesake and anchor, Bice Ristorante, to the north. More than 150 guests gathered to celebrate the revival of the luxury retail piazza. Read More

LOVELY DAYS

Aesthetic and artistic sensibilities inform Palm Beach’s state of affairs this month.

The European charm

If you haven’t been to Via Bice on Worth Avenue (worth-avenue.com) lately, a visit this month is a must. An extensive renovation and redesign have added yet more Mediterranean charm to the thoroughfare. Think Capri. Think cobblestone flooring. Think an obelisk fountain and bougainvillea everywhere you look. Plus, new, newish and not-new-at-all establishments like Taglialatella Galleries, Gil Walsh Interiors, Bice Ristorante and boutiques such as Maac London, Frances Valentine, Eye of the Needle, J’da Palm Beach and Coastal Girls Co. Sounds like a low-key Sunday of browsing, shopping, lunch and Bellinis is calling your name.

Carla Trivino, Palm Beach Daily News 1/29/2021

As children, Dionne Schneider and Danyelle Jolly would raid their parents’ closet for shoes, coats, dresses and blouses.
